William Simmons

William Simmons is an experienced product leader currently serving as Product Lead at Block and Partner at Edition One Books since June 2024 and June 2023, respectively. Previously, William held various roles at Affirm, including Director of Product and Head of Finance Operations/Chief of Staff to the CFO from January 2021 to June 2023. William also worked at Google as a Product Manager in 2020 and progressed through multiple positions at Affirm, including Group Product Manager. Earlier experience includes Senior Director of Product at Vim and Senior Product Manager at Oscar Health. William's career began at Coles Group as an intern and included advocating for product management at National Australia Bank and Lab49. William obtained a Bachelor of Business Information Systems from Monash University between 2006 and 2008.
