Julien Barret has over two decades of experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as the Editorial Director for the Sciences department at Bordas, a division of Editis, since June 2010, where responsibilities include managing a team of six and overseeing a multi-million euro revenue stream. Prior roles include Senior Scientific Editor at Hachette Livre, focusing on mathematics and physical sciences textbooks, and Junior Scientific Editor positions at Nathan and Edition Bréal, where Julien managed editorial processes for various educational materials. Julien holds a specialized master's degree in Publishing Management from ESCP Business School and an engineering degree in Polymer Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Clermont-Ferrand, along with a strong academic background in Physics and Chemistry.
