Kandy Hopkins

Kandy Hopkins is the Owner and Editorial Consultant at Word Geek Co. Since January 2010. Kandy has extensive experience in editing, copy editing, and proofreading for various clients including the American Heart Association and Thomson Reuters/West. Kandy has also worked as a Blog Manager & Writer and Editor for different projects. In their current role at the Editorial Freelancers Association, Kandy serves as the Chicagoland Chapter Co-coordinator managing chapter marketing and communications. Kandy's background includes roles as a Medical News Copy Editor, Legal Copy Editor & Proofreader, and AMA Copy Editor for different organizations. Kandy holds a BA in English from the University of Kansas.
