Adam Anderson

Adam Anderson has a diverse work experience in the field of weed control and management. Adam is currently employed at EDKO LLC as a District Manager since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at WEED CONTROL INC where they held multiple roles. From March 2020 to July 2022, they served as the President of the company. Before that, from May 2016 to March 2020, Adam held the position of Vice President. Additionally, they started their career at WEED CONTROL INC as a Crew Leader/Commercial Herbicide Applicator in May 2011 and continued in this role until March 2020.

Adam Anderson attended Virginia Tech from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Agriculture Science degree with a focus on Leadership and Community Development. During their time at Virginia Tech, they also earned an Associate of Agriculture degree in Turf Management and Landscape Design from 2012 to 2014. Prior to attending Virginia Tech, Adam attended Cave Spring High School from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained an Advanced Studies Diploma.

In addition to their formal education, Adam has received several certifications in the field of arboriculture. In March 2018, they became an ISA Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture. In May 2018, they achieved the designation of ISA Certified Utility Specialist from the same institution. In March 2019, they obtained the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification. Most recently, in May 2020, Adam became a member of The American Society of Consulting Arborists.
