Jason Carey

Jason Carey is a seasoned professional in environmental management and operations with extensive experience in landfill gas systems. Currently serving as the Landfill Gas Manager at EDL since October 2021, Jason oversees gas operations, maintenance, and the expansion of the Gas Collection and Control System while prioritizing health, safety, and environmental coordination. Prior roles include Operations Supervisor at EDL, where responsibilities focused on compliance and daily operations of a combined cycle facility, and Project Superintendent at SCS Engineers, managing environmental projects and employee operations. Jason's previous experience includes a Senior Technician position at SCS Engineers, a Laboratory Analyst role at New England Testing Lab, and an internship with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science, Economics, and Legal Studies from Roger Williams University.
