Jayne C. Lammers

Director, Learning Design at Edmentum

Jayne C. Lammers has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jayne C. currently works as a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Learning Design at Edmentum, where they collaborated with educators to develop digital curriculum and assessments for K-12 students. Jayne also held the position of Associate Professor at the University of Rochester, where they conducted research on adolescents' literacy practices and mentored graduate students. Jayne C. was a Fulbright Scholar at the State University of Semarang, working on a study about the digital literacies of Indonesian secondary students. Earlier in their career, Jayne held academic positions at the University of Rochester and Arizona State University, where they taught courses on literacy education and conducted research projects. Jayne C. also has experience as a teacher in Orange County Public Schools and worked as a Software Trainer at Convergys and Sunterra Resorts.

Jayne C. Lammers obtained a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis on Language and Literacy from Arizona State University from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a M.Ed. in Reading Education from the University of Central Florida between 2002 and 2005. Jayne C.'sundergraduate degree is a B.S. in Liberal Studies (English, Education, Business Administration) from the University of Central Florida, which they completed from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, they hold certifications from the Fulbright Association as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar and from the Florida Department of Education as a Reading (K-12) and English (5-9 & 6-12) teacher.
