Simon van der Sluis

Simon van der Sluis has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Simon is currently the Head of Agile Portfolio Delivery at EDMI Limited, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Software Development Team Leader at EDMI from 2012. Before joining EDMI, they were a Software Developer at Energy Intellect Ltd in 2006 and at Argonaut Ltd from 2002 to 2006. Simon's career in technology started at Aviat Networks, where they worked as an Electronics Technician from 1997 to 2002.

Simon van der Sluis earned a Diploma in Electronic Engineering from the Central Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed a BSc in Computer Science at Victoria University of Wellington, from 2001 to 2004. In addition, Simon obtained a certification in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in 2013.
