Solomiya Cherkavska M.ed.

Solomiya Cherkavska M.Ed. has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an Elementary Teacher at Edmonton Catholic Schools since August 2019. Prior to this role, Solomiya worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at Kepler Academy Early Learning & Child Care from August 2018 to August 2019, and as a Secondary English and Ukrainian Teacher at Vidrodzhennia Private School for a brief period in 2016. Solomiya's educational background includes a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of Alberta, completed in August 2023, and a Graduate Certificate in School Leadership from the same institution in 2021. Additionally, Solomiya completed the Internationally Educated Teachers Bridging Program at the University of Alberta between 2017 and 2019, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language and Literature and Ukrainian Language and Literature from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, obtained in 2017.
