Michael Dowler

Michael Dowler is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the VP of Shared Services at Explore Edmonton Corporation since February 2024. Previously, Michael held roles including CFO and Deputy Chief Administrative Officer at the City of Beaumont from November 2019 to February 2024, Director of Budget Planning and Development at the City of Edmonton from February 2012 to November 2019, and Manager of Financial Services at the City of St. Albert from January 2008 to January 2012. Additional experience includes positions as Budget and Business Planning Analyst for the Government of Alberta - Treasury Board, Accounting Supervisor, and Financial Planning Advisor at the City of St. Albert, and Management Advisor for the Government of Alberta - Alberta Learning.
