Jody Young, CPM, CGFO

Jody Young, CPM, CGFO, has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and industries. Most recently, they worked at Edmunds GovTech as a Customer Support Specialist Level III. They joined the company in February 2023 and are currently in this role.

Prior to Edmunds GovTech, Jody worked at Aclarian LLC as a Senior Consultant from April 2022 to December 2022. Before that, they held various roles at the City Of Bushnell. From February 2018 to January 2022, Jody served as the City Manager/Finance Director. They were responsible for overseeing the financial management and operations of the city.

In addition to their role as City Manager/Finance Director, Jody also served as the Finance Director from October 2015 to October 2021. They held the position of Deputy Finance Director from October 2014 to October 2015, and prior to that, they worked as an Accountant I from October 2012 to October 2014. Jody started their career at the City Of Bushnell as a Finance Specialist in October 2010 and worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist from July 2008 to October 2010.

In 2001, they began their higher education journey at Pasco-Hernando State College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General studies. After completing their associate degree in 2005, Jody continued their education at Saint Leo University. During their time at Saint Leo University from 2008 to 2011, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a specialization in Accounting.

Seeking further professional development, Jody enrolled at Florida State University, commencing in 2018 and completing their studies in 2020. During their time at Florida State University, they attained the status of Certified Public Manager (CPM), further cementing their expertise in managerial and administrative roles.
