Erik Arrieta

Erik Arrieta has a diverse range of work experience, starting their career in 2012 as an Undergraduate Researcher at UCLA. Erik then moved on to work at UCLA Social Sciences Computing, first as a Lab Consultant and then as an Instructional Programmer. In these roles, Erik addressed technical support and computing needs, maintained labs, and provided remote support for offsite issues.

In 2014, Erik joined Edmunds as a Software Engineer. Erik worked alongside data scientists, implementing shopper propensity tests and supporting the development of the Edmunds Ad Solutions product. Erik utilized various technologies such as Java, AWS DynamoDB, and PySpark for efficient data processing. Erik also worked on Java web development using Spring and Jackson, deployed on AWS infrastructure.

In 2018, Erik was promoted to the role of Senior Software Engineer at Edmunds, where they continued to contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's software solutions. Throughout their work experience, Erik demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of programming languages and technologies such as Python, Scala, MongoDB, and AWS Cloud.

Erik Arrieta earned a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and Computer Science from UCLA, completing their studies from 2010 to 2014.
