Cheryl Jean Francisco has worked in the education and development field since 2001. Cheryl Jean began their career as Principal of Happy Kids Child Development Centre in 2001. In 2006, they moved to Presbyterian Community Services as a Curriculum Development Specialist, where they designed and managed the infant care and preschool curricula for infants to 6 year olds for all 11 centres across Singapore. Cheryl Jean also mentored and trained new teachers, and conducted classroom observations. In 2012, they took on the role of Principal/Assistant Centre Director at Knowledge Universe Singapore. In 2013, they joined Ednovation Pte Ltd as Director, Edu & Dev and Curriculum Development Manager.
Cheryl Jean Francisco has a diverse educational background. Cheryl Jean holds a Master of Education from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor in Early Childhood Studies from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma in MarCom from Marketing Institute of Singapore, a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), and attended Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (Toa Payoh). Additionally, they have obtained a SMU Executive Certificate in EdTech for Educators from Singapore Management University in 2021 and a Certificate in Effective Management and Administration of an Integrated Childcare Programme (MICP) from Rainbow Centre in October 2006.
