Carla Barros

Carla Barros has extensive experience in well-being and social impact management, currently serving as the Well-being Program Manager at EDP within the People & Organizational Development Global Unit since March 2010. Carla is responsible for implementing various well-being and volunteering initiatives, including managing projects focused on work-family reconciliation and participating in emergency relief efforts during crises in Portugal. Prior to EDP, Carla founded and directed operations at Marar and worked as a Social Responsibility Consultant at Beyond Sustainable Ideas, contributing to significant projects in social entrepreneurship and quality management. Carla holds a Licentiate degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Universidade do Minho, and has furthered education through programs at Salzburg Global Seminar, Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, and INSEAD.
