Elisa Picerno

Elisa Picerno is currently the Data Privacy and Compliance Manager at eDriving\u00ae, a role they have held since 2021. In this role, they support the data protection lead in achieving strategic objectives, administering and controlling Privacy Notices, managing and replying to requests for exercising data subject rights, replying to users\u2019 inquiries regarding privacy, and managing clients\u2019 expectations regarding privacy and compliance practices. Elisa also assists the data protection lead with key incidents and identifying and implementing data compliance improvements. Prior to this role, Elisa was the Secretary General at the Embassy of the State of Qatar from 2016 to 2021. In this role, they provided constant support to the Head of Mission and other diplomats, helped senior management in decision-making by creating reports and presentations, and performed multiple tasks, such as administrative and procurement tasks, coordination of international visitors, and managing contractual arrangements.

Elisa Picerno has a diverse educational background. Elisa obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations from the Universidad Católica del Uruguay 'Dámaso Antonio Larranaga' in 2012. Elisa then went on to gain an Expert in Business Administration from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2016. Most recently, Elisa obtained a Master of International Management from Trinity College Dublin in 2020. Additionally, Elisa has obtained two certifications: ISO 27001 Auditor - Information Security Certification from the British Standards Institution Training Academy in 2022, and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2021.
