Sebastián Duarte Giraldo

Sebastián Duarte Giraldo is a Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Modeler at Edsa, Inc. since October 2022, focusing on civil engineering tasks such as managing Civil 3D data for projects. Previously, Sebastián worked at the Instituto de Desarrollo Urbano (IDU) from June 2019 to January 2022, where responsibilities included crafting technical support documents for street network conservation programs with a substantial budget allocation. Additionally, Sebastián was a member of the Transport Infrastructure commission at ACIEM from January 2019 to December 2021, contributing to public policy discussions regarding transport infrastructure. An internship at Ecopetrol in 2018 involved identifying geotechnical hazards on pipelines. Sebastián holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes and has pursued specialization and courses in Road Design, Pavement Engineering, and infrastructure project management.
