Ben S.

Ben S. has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Ben started their career in 2012 as an English Teacher at the Two Brothers Foundation. In 2014, they worked as a Public Affairs Intern at Tetra Strategy and as an Outreach Assistant at Future First. Ben then joined the House of Commons in 2014, working in the Office of Annette Brooke MP.

In 2015, Ben worked at RESULTS UK as a Parliamentary Advocacy Coordinator, followed by a role as a Parliamentary Advocacy Officer. Ben also worked as a Policy Adviser at the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Brazil from 2015 to 2017.

Ben joined Plan International UK in 2017 as a Policy and Advocacy Adviser. During this time, they also served as a Member of the Executive Committee at Education Cannot Wait (ECW) from 2017 to 2019. Ben then transitioned to a consultant role at ECW, working as an Adviser in Donor Relations and Partnerships from 2019 to 2022 and subsequently as a Donor Relations & Partnerships Specialist (UNICEF) from 2022 onwards.

In 2019, Ben joined Comic Relief as a Senior Advocacy Lead, and later became a Senior Public Affairs Lead. Ben also worked as a Governance and Strategy Consultant at the UN Girls' Education Initiative (UNGEI) in 2020.

Overall, Ben has gained experience in public affairs, advocacy, policy, and education, with a particular focus on children's rights and education initiatives.

Ben S. attended The Queen Katherine School from 2002 to 2009, although no degree or field of study was specified for this period. Ben then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Politics at The University of Sheffield from 2009 to 2012. After completing their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at King's College London, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Area Studies from 2013 to 2015.
