Kirsti Nunn

Kirsti Nunn has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Kirsti most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at the Education Centre of Australia since August 2022. From October 2019 to August 2022, Kirsti worked as the CFO/COO at The Peninsula Montessori Association Ltd (PMAL), where they successfully developed and implemented a strategic plan to navigate the challenges of COVID-19, resulting in increased profit and student enrollments. Before that, Kirsti worked as a Senior Change Analyst at the Salvation Army from June 2019 to October 2019, where they implemented a change management strategy for a financial systems consolidation project.

Kirsti'sprevious roles include serving as the Financial Controller, Retirement Villages at Aveo Group from November 2015 to June 2019, where they provided financial strategic direction and managed a large team across multiple states. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Finance Manager - Decision Support & Financial Planning at UNSW Australia from June 2013 to November 2015, leading strategic projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.

Kirsti began their career as a Corporate Management Accountant at Sanitarium from December 1997 to April 2000, preparing financial reports and managing data in SAP. Lastly, they worked as an Assistant Accountant at Leaseway Vehicle Rental Ltd, where they prepared management accounts, cash flow reports, and managed accounts staff.

Prior to this, Kirsti obtained a Master's degree in Fraud and Financial Crime from Charles Sturt University between 2013 and 2018, specializing in Financial Forensics and Fraud Investigation.

In 1997 to 1999, they completed a Master's degree in Accounting from Macquarie University, focusing on Accounting. Kirsti also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Macquarie University, obtained from 1990 to 1992, with a specialization in Business/Managerial Economics.

In addition to their academic achievements, Kirsti also holds several certifications. Kirsti obtained a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from All Australian Training in January 2015. In November 2001, they became a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) through CPA Australia.
