Ema Land Muita

Ema Land Muita is an experienced education leader with a strong background in developing innovative learning experiences and academic programs. Currently serving as Chief Programme Officer at Education Design Unlimited since June 2019, Ema focuses on user-centered learning design for educational organizations worldwide. Previously, Ema held the position of Director of Academics at Nova Pioneer from May 2015 to June 2019, where efforts centered on cultivating accessible, world-class education in Kenya. Prior roles include Head of Academics and Campus Leader at Spire Education, Educational Consultant at Uncommon Schools, Manager of Teacher Leadership Development at Teach For America, and Instructional Lead at North Star Academy Charter School of Newark. Ema holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from the University of Washington.
