Adam Swanson

Adam Swanson is an experienced professional in the fields of public health and mental well-being, currently serving as the Senior State Partnerships Manager and Senior Prevention Specialist at the Education Development Center since July 2016. In this role, Adam leads national initiatives at the Suicide Prevention Resource Center, focusing on enhancing state suicide prevention programming. Prior to this, Adam held the position of Senior Policy Associate at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, where monitoring healthcare and behavioral health policy developments and managing training programs were key responsibilities. Adam's earlier roles include serving as a Policy Associate for U.S. Senator Al Franken and various positions in organizations focused on mental health and communications. Adam holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Emerson College and possesses advanced education in public policy and LGBT health practice.
