Jocelyn Winkler

Long Term Substitute Teacher at EDUCATION FOR CHANGE

Jocelyn Winkler is an experienced educator and environmental advocate with a diverse background in teaching, fundraising, and community outreach. Currently serving as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Education for Change Public Schools since February 2020, Jocelyn adapted educational strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic to support at-risk students. As a Data Collection & Outreach Volunteer for the RIVER OTTER ECOLOGY PROJECT since June 2017, Jocelyn monitors wildlife populations and engages the public in conservation efforts. Previous roles include Advancement Associate at California Trout, where Jocelyn increased donor participation and managed significant fundraising events, and Development Associate at the Archdiocese of San Francisco, successfully raising substantial funds for charitable causes. Jocelyn holds a Master's degree in Biology from Miami University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and French Studies from the University of Oregon.
