Oscar Emilio Navarro-Perez

Oscar Emilio Navarro-Perez has extensive work experience in the field of physical education, coaching, and sports performance. Oscar Emilio is currently working as the Head PE Teacher and Athletic Director at Education for Change Public Schools since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head Soccer Coach at Skyline High School starting in October 2022. Oscar has also held the position of Head Soccer Coach at Montclair Soccer Club - Oakland and Soccer Trainer at 24-7 UK Soccer Academy since May 2022. In 2019, they founded Oaktown Futbol Club. Oscar Emilio has previous experience working as a Varsity Coach at Head-Royce School starting in August 2017. From February 2017 to June 2022, Oscar worked as a Physical Education Teacher at Aspire Public Schools. Oscar Emilio also worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach/Sports Performance Intern at City College of San Francisco from June 2016 to December 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach and Assistant Physical Education Teacher at Gateway Public Schools from September 2016 to August 2017. Oscar's earliest work experience was as a Fitness and Nutrition Specialist (Strength and Conditioning Coach) at SCO Family of Services from August 2014 to June 2016.

Oscar Emilio Navarro-Perez pursued their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Merced. Oscar Emilio attended this institution between 2010 and 2014. Subsequently, between 2017 and 2019, they pursued further academic studies at Saint Mary's College of California, earning a Master of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
