Shane Patrick, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in human resources and consulting. Shane held the position of Director of Human Resources/Facilities Director at Education Minnesota, where they oversaw various HR functions and played a key role in managing human capital for the organization. Prior to this, they worked at Carver County as an Employee Relations Business Partner and later as an Employee Relations Specialist, where they provided strategic planning, policy analysis, and consultation services. Shane also gained experience as a Legal Intern at Northwest Disability Management and as a Business Consultant at JHCI Consulting. Shane's earlier work experience includes roles at Dayton-Hudson Co. (now Macy's) as a Store Trainer/Retail Sales and at Trader Publishing Company as an Office/Operations Manager, where they supervised multiple departments and handled various HR functions.

Shane Patrick, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Hamline University, where they attended from 1998 to 2000. During the same period, they also earned a Paralegal Certificate from Hamline University. Prior to that, Shane attended Normandale Community College from 1997 to 1998 and obtained an Associate in Arts degree. In terms of certifications, Shane obtained the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2010. They further obtained the SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management in January 2016. Most recently, in May 2023, Shane obtained the Textio Interrupting Bias in Hiring Certification from Textio.
