Gary Dodwell has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Gary started their career as a Support Analyst/Domain Administrator at Reconis, where they provided remote and local support to over 185,000 users worldwide. Gary was also responsible for domain administration and server access.
Later, Gary worked as a Voice & Data Support Officer (Team Leader) at Warwickshire County Council. Gary ensured technical assurance and expertise for network engineers and facilitated improved working relationships between functional departments. Gary also played a key role in the opening of anti-viral distribution points during the H1N1 pandemic.
Following this, they joined PC Direct as an Assistant Sales Manager and quickly gained a promotion within 8 weeks. Gary provided technical support and sales advice to customers.
Gary then worked at Notre Dame Federal Credit Union as a Network Engineer/Analyst. Gary served as a single point of contact for network support, completed a server migration project, and also provided support for desktop PCs and servers.
Afterwards, they joined TruPay Corporation as an I.T.Systems Administrator/Network Engineer. Gary provided service and support for PCs and servers, and also replaced the organization's aging firewall with a Sophos UTM for improved performance.
Currently, Gary is working at ENA by Zayo as a Senior Field Engineer. Gary provides leadership to a team of field engineers, ensures best practices are followed, and provides technical expertise for issue diagnosis and resolution. Gary also advises on process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Gary Dodwell attended Bournville College of Further Education, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. Gary completed the Btec program and continued their education by obtaining a Higher National Diploma (HND). Gary's education at Bournville College spanned until 2012.
