Kristen Jaudon

Kristen Jaudon is the Senior Director of Communications, Government Relations & Public at ESD 113. Kristen has over four years of experience in communications, specifically in K-12 education. Kristen was hired as a Communications Specialist at the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) in February 2012 and served in that role for four years. In their role at OSPI, Kristen was responsible for developing consistent messaging around the superintendent’s priorities, goals, and vision, as well as executing the agency's strategic communications plans. Kristen also served as an agency spokesperson, responding to questions from media, legislators, legislative staff, the executive branch, educators, and the public on existing and emerging K–12 issues and programs.

In their current role at ESD 113, Kristen is responsible for leading the communications efforts for the agency. Kristen oversees all digital, video, and print content for the agency and manages the agency's website and social media accounts. Kristen also provides timely, transparent, proactive information about the agency’s initiatives, key messages, and programs to school district personnel, community members, and news media.

Kristen Jaudon has a Master's degree in Art Education from The University of Alabama, a Bachelor's degree in English (Writing Emphasis) and Art from Pacific Lutheran University, and a Certificate in Indian/Native American Education from UW Professional & Continuing Education. Kristen is also certified by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in Accreditation in Public Relations.

They are on a team with Auzimuth Jackson - Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Andrew Eyres - Deputy Superintendent, Teaching, Learning & Student Support, and Calvin Brodie - Deputy Superintendent, Business & Operations. Kristen Jaudon reports to Dana Anderson, Superintendent.
