Anthony Johnson has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Anthony started their career in 1999 as the Silver Spring Regional Manager at Montgomery County Teachers Federal Credit Union. In 2003, they joined Mid Atlantic Federal credit union, where they held various leadership positions, including Director of Branch Operations, Vice President of Member Services, and Vice President/COO. During their tenure at Mid Atlantic, they were responsible for creating and implementing operational policies, strategic plans, and sales culture. In 2013, they joined Educational Systems Federal Credit Union as a Branch Manager and later progressed to the role of Sr. Branch Manager. Currently, they hold the position of AVP of Risk Management, where they direct the development and implementation of risk management programs, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks. In 2021, Anthony was promoted to the role of Vice President of Risk Management at Educational Systems Federal Credit Union.
Anthony Johnson attended Elizabeth City State University from 1983 to 1986. During their time there, they studied Communication, General, but did not earn a degree.
