Omer Ali

Omer Ali has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Omer is currently working as a Senior Accountant at Educative, Inc. where they assist with payroll processing, reviews expense reimbursement requests, trains new employees on the payroll system, and handles vendor coordination and payables.

Prior to this, Omer worked as a Billing Support Specialist at TCP Software, where they created and renewed subscriptions, processed invoices and receipts, reviewed contracts, and resolved customer billing issues.

Omer also served as a Senior Account Executive at Nextbridge Ltd., recording and verifying accounting transactions, preparing financial statements, and analyzing account information.

Omer's earlier roles include Assistant Manager Internal Auditor at Khawaja Electronics (Pvt.) Ltd., Assistant Manager Finance Account and Accounts/Audit Officer at Ghani Group, Intern at EY-Lahore, and Audit Senior and Audit Junior at Fakharuddin Yousafali & Co. In these positions, they gained experience in areas such as internal auditing, financial account preparation, ERP implementation, data analysis, and audit procedures.

Omer Ali has a diverse education history. Omer first attended St. Anthony's High School in Faisal Town, where they completed their Matriculation degree in Computer Science from 1998 to 2010.

After completing their schooling, Omer joined ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in 2010, where they obtained a CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from 2010 to 2011.

Continuing their education, Omer enrolled in the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and completed their Inter in Commerce (I.Com) degree in Business/Commerce, General from 2013 to 2015.

Simultaneously, they pursued a BSc (Hons.) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University from 2011 to 2016, focusing on Accounting and Finance. Additionally, during the same period, Omer also studied at ACCA, where they obtained an ACCA degree in Accounting and Related Services from 2012 to 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, Omer acquired several qualifications. Omer completed the "Excelling in Advance Excel" course from ACCA, although the specific month and year of completion are unknown. Omer also obtained the "Advance Diploma in Accounting and Business" from ACCA in August 2014. Omer further pursued professional ethics training through the "Professional Ethics module" offered by ACCA, which was completed in September 2015. Additionally, they participated in the "Steer Your Career" program provided by INJAZ Pakistan in December 2015, and obtained the "Operational Audit and its Contribution in Business Excellence" certification from ACCA in June 2019.

Most recently, in September 2021, Omer achieved the QuickBooks Certification from DigiSkills.pk, further enhancing their skills and qualifications in the field of accounting.
