Salma Kayed

Salma Kayed has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2019, they started as a Marketing/Media Team Intern at Infinity Supplies, where they developed marketing ideas and shot and edited videos for product promotion. Salma then worked as a Photography and Editing Intern at Dramatic Media, covering events and retouching photos. In 2019, they also served as an Usher and Organizer for the World Youth Forum, handling guest forms and documents at a hotel booth. Salma continued to expand their skills as a Production Team Member at Enactus in 2019-2020.

Starting in 2020, Salma worked as a Product Photographer at InstaShop, shooting products and setting lighting and compositions for their online shopping platform. In 2021, they briefly worked as a Video Editor at Etegah. Salma then joined Cred Developments as a Marketing Intern and later became a Marketing Coordinator, responsible for coordinating marketing activities.

From 2017 to 2021, Salma had a significant role at The Insider GUC, where they started as a Photographer, providing coverage for events and working on photography projects. Salma later became the Head of the Photography and Videography Committee, leading and guiding a team of photographers and videographers, assigning tasks, and delivering workshops to enhance their skills.

Most recently, Salma joined Butlers & Co. & Butlers Bakery in 2022 as a Content Creator, responsible for creating engaging content. In 2023, they will be working as a Content Creator at Educatly.

Salma Kayed completed their American Diploma from BBC International School in the years ranging from 2003 to 2016. Salma then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Film/Video and Photographic Arts at The German University in Cairo from 2016 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Salma obtained various certifications to enhance their skills. Salma completed a Creative Product Photography certification from Domestika in July 2022. In January 2021, Salma obtained a certification in Learning Food and Drink Photography from LinkedIn. Further, they completed a Filmmaking Diploma from We Can For Media Courses in December 2020. Salma also obtained certifications in Creative Video Editing Techniques, Digital Marketing Challenger Track, Learning Natural Light Portrait Photography, and Learning Product Photography from LinkedIn in the months of August and July 2020. In May 2020, they completed a Cinematography Course from Udemy, and in March 2020, they completed a Video Production Bootcamp from Udemy as well. Lastly, Salma obtained a certification in Cinema and Television Photography from Radio and TV Institute In Cairo in July 2019.
