Benjamin M. McGrath

Benjamin McGrath is the President and Chief Operating Officer at EJME and previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company since mid-year 2000. Prior to joining EJME, Mr. McGrath was a Managing Director of the Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking group at Chase Securities Inc. where he covered a variety of public and private real estate companies in the retail, office, industrial and residential property sectors. Mr. McGrath joined Chase in 1984 (then Chemical Bank) and held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in the real estate banking function, eventually being promoted to co-head of the Global Real Estate Banking Group. His experience spans a wide range of credit, advisory and financing transactions including: construction, M&A, direct property sales, joint venture structuring, lease financings, rated transactions, mortgage-backed and surety-backed transactions as well as principal investments.
