Greg Wilton

Greg Wilton has extensive work experience in the learning and development field. Greg started their career in 1997 as an Assistant at Natalie J. Pelafos Photography. In 2000, they became the Principal at Fingerprint Creative Media, where they created websites for small businesses.

In 2002, Greg joined the American Optometric Association as the Manager of Internet Services. Greg managed online communications for a national association and supervised the Web Designer and Content Editor.

From 2008 to 2011, Greg worked at Coventry Health Care, an Aetna Company, as a Web Developer. Greg designed and maintained multiple intranet sites, consolidated sites into a single portal, and served on the Intranet Advisory Board.

In 2011, Greg joined Monsanto as the Global eLearning Team Lead, where they oversaw the delivery of digital learning programs to a global audience. Greg started as an eLearning Developer and was promoted to team lead in 2013.

In 2015, Greg joined Edward Jones as the Senior Learning Strategist. Greg introduced innovative measurement and design thinking methods and led a Proof of Concept project. Greg later became the Department Leader and then the Director of Branch Learning & Development, where they led two departments responsible for needs assessment, curriculum development, and performance support. Greg also led the implementation of an Enterprise Learning Experience Platform.

Currently, Greg is the Director of Learning Technology at Edward Jones, where they are modernizing the firm's learning experience by overseeing the acquisition and implementation of design and delivery technologies and premium content. Greg is also the business lead for the implementation of an LXP.

Greg Wilton attended Kenyon College from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Honors History. Additionally, they completed the Tech Workers Boot Camp at Southern Illinois University, although the specific start and end years are not provided. Greg also holds a certification as a High Performance Learning Journey Champion, which they obtained in November 2022 from Brinkerhoff Certification - for High Performance Learning Journeys (Promote International).
