Marcela Fernandes

Marcela Fernandes, PharmD has extensive experience in the field of pharmacy. Marcela most recently served as the Director of Pharmacy at Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at CVS Health as a Pharmacy Manager from June 2020 to August 2021, and as a Pharmacist from October 2018 to June 2020. Marcela also gained experience as a Pharmacist at Eaton Apothecary from October 2018 to January 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Johnson Compounding and Wellness from June 2011 to August 2018, and as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health from November 2011 to March 2013.

Marcela Fernandes, PharmD obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from the same institution between 2010 and 2014. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including The Pharmacist & Patient-Centered Diabetes Care, Delivering Medication Therapy Management Services, Basic Life Support, OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogens, and Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery.
