Christina Erving

Christina Erving is the current Development & Operations Manager at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute. Prior to their current position, Christina was the Development Operations Manager at Inversant from January 2020 to August 2021. In this role, Christina was responsible for proactively maintaining and overseeing the quality, integrity, and accuracy of data, as well as serving as project manager for overall development operations and initiatives. Christina continually updated, improved, and implemented policies and procedures for new and on-going processes, and oversaw tracking of foundation proposals, reports and supplementary materials to ensure that necessary internal and external deadlines were met for institutional funding.

Prior to working at Inversant, Christina was the Farm Manager at Cultivar from January 2018 to January 2019. In this role, Christina managed the operation and maintenance of an on-site hydroponic farm for a downtown Boston farm-to-table restaurant.

Christina began their career at Inversant as a Development Associate in February 2017 before being promoted to Development Manager in August of that year. Christina held this position until January 2020.

Before working in development, Christina worked as a Front Desk Lead at Republic Fitness from January 2016 to January 2017, and as a Front Desk Associate at Healthworks Fitness Centers for Women from February 2015 to May 2015.

Christina Erving studied international affairs and economics at Northeastern University and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

They work with Caroline Angel Burke - VP of Education, Visitor Experience & Collections, Zubeda Khan - Manager of Curriculum & Educator Engagement, and William Foster-Nolan - Lead Educator. Christina Erving reports to Sue Heilman, Interim Executive Director.
