Behzad Talle

Behzad Talle is a Senior Scientist at Edward Vinson Ltd since March 2022, where responsibilities include managing ongoing research projects and incorporating molecular tools to enhance breeding output. Prior to this role, Behzad served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham from January 2017 to March 2022, working on a collaborative project with Shanghai Jiao Tong University to develop heat stress resilient rice cultivars through causal loci identification and transcriptome profiling. Behzad's earlier experience includes working as a Research Technician at the University of Nottingham from September 2012 to September 2016, focusing on plant maintenance and molecular cloning projects. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Plant Science, a Master of Science in Plant Sciences, and a Master of Science in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding from Islamic Azad University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Plant Breeding.
