The current executive team at Edward Waters University has a long history of experience in various aspects of academia. The team includes a retired president, a vice president for academic affairs, and an associate professor of education. These individuals have worked at a variety of institutions, including Bennett College, Elon University, and Burlington City Schools. They have also been educated at some of the top universities in the country, including UNC-G and Elon University.
