Barney Mulvihill

Barney Mulvihill is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and program management within the medical device industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Strategic Program Management at Edwards Lifesciences since February 2023, Mulvihill previously held key roles at Medtronic from June 2011 to February 2023, including Core Team Leader for the Next Generation System and Engineering Supervisor for delivery systems and implants. Prior to Medtronic, Mulvihill worked at Bombardier Aerospace as a Strategic Technology Engineer and Materials & Processes Engineer, and started a career at BMW Group as a Graduate Engineer. Educationally, Mulvihill holds an MBA and a Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice from the University of Leicester, an MSc in Engineering and Management from Cranfield University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronic Engineering from Dublin City University.
