Sameer Upadhyaya

Sameer Upadhyaya is a seasoned engineering leader currently serving as VP Engineering at Edwards Lifesciences since July 2021, with a focus on advanced technologies. Previously, Sameer held the position of Sr. Director for Packaging, Graphics & Labeling at BD from March 2019 to April 2021. Prior roles include Head of Technology & Cold Chain in Global Packaging Development at Roche from 2015 to March 2019, and Sr. Principal and Principal Packaging Engineer at Medtronic from 2008 to 2015. Early in professional experience, Sameer worked as a Packaging/Labeling/Sterilization Engineer at W.L. Gore & Associates from 2002 to 2008. Sameer earned a Master of Science degree in Packaging from Michigan State University.
