Tamera Scholz

Tamera Scholz is an accomplished professional in human factors engineering, currently serving as the Director of Human Factors Engineering at Edwards Lifesciences since March 2015, where responsibilities include leading and expanding the shared services team and acting as a subject matter expert. Previous experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineer at CardioMEMS, Inc., where Tamera designed a wireless monitoring device and conducted usability studies, and as a Mechanical Designer at Newell Rubbermaid, focusing on product development and testing. Tamera's early career includes research engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, contributing to the development of various medical devices, and consulting for Integrative Medical Technologies. Tamera holds a BS in Mathematics from Florida State University and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
