John Henry van Zyl

John Henry Van Zyl, PhD, currently serves as the Intellectual Property Operations Manager at 2U, where a progression through roles such as Intellectual Property Specialist and Intellectual Property Officer has been established since July 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Copyright Administrator at GetSmarter from July 2018 to June 2019. John Henry Van Zyl's academic background consists of a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology, both obtained from Stellenbosch University, where additional studies toward a Bachelor of Laws have also been pursued. Furthermore, a Bachelor of Laws was attained at the University of South Africa from 2017 to 2019.
