Insa Errey

Insa Errey serves as the Sector Decarbonisation Programme Lead at the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) since November 2021, focusing on transforming energy behavior in New Zealand's small to medium business market. Responsibilities include developing program frameworks, engaging stakeholders, establishing monitoring processes, and managing team performance to facilitate the transition to a low carbon economy. Prior to EECA, Insa founded Curios Sustainability, aimed at delivering creative sustainability solutions. Insa's extensive experience at Lion involved leading energy transition initiatives, implementing compliance programs, and optimizing utility processes across major breweries, in addition to earlier roles in engineering and management. Insa holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Sydney and is pursuing advanced studies in sustainability and engineering from various institutions, including the University of Cambridge and Deakin University.
