Grete Karelsohn

Grete Karelsohn is an experienced Economic Recovery Officer at Eesti Pagulasabi / Estonian Refugee Council since January 2023, focusing on the counselling programme. Previously, Grete worked as a Business Consultant at KRM Advisor from February 2018 to September 2020, assisting entrepreneurs with the Estonian business environment and cryptocurrency license applications. Between September 2016 and January 2018, Grete served as an Assistant to diplomats at the Permanent Representation of Estonia to the European Union, supporting Agriculture, Environment, and Social Affairs during the 2017 Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Grete began a career in diplomacy as an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia in 2014. Grete holds a Master's degree in Asian Studies from Tallinn University (2018-2022) and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Tallinn University of Technology (2011-2015), along with experience as an exchange student at Sun Moon University in South Korea.
