Taavet Tomberg

Taavet Tomberg is an experienced professional in humanitarian aid and economic recovery, currently serving as the Livelihoods and Economic Recovery Programme Officer and Humanitarian Aid Coordinator at Eesti Pagulasabi / Estonian Refugee Council since September 2016. Responsibilities include coordinating aid projects in various countries, including Ukraine, Georgia, Lebanon, Jordan, and Kenya, as well as facilitating the integration and self-reliance of refugees in Estonia through support services. Previously, Taavet completed a PR and media production internship at NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in mid-2016, where involvement included press releases and media briefings for the CyCon 2016 conference on cyber defence. Taavet holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Tartu, obtained from 2010 to 2014.
