Kaido Zimmermann

Kaido Zimmermann is a seasoned professional in the railway industry, currently serving as the Chairman of the Board and Director General at AS Eesti Raudtee since March 2021. Zimmermann also holds the position of Planning and Implementation Manager at RB Rail Ltd, focusing on the development of the Rail Baltica project since January 2017. With a wealth of experience, Zimmermann has been the CEO and Railway Consultant at Zimmermann IB OÜ since October 2012 and served as Railway Logistics Director at Port of Sillamäe Ltd until December 2016. Previous roles include Chief Engineer at Latvian Railways and Chairman of the Board-Managing Director at Estonian Railways Ltd. Zimmermann's early career features significant accomplishments, such as Director of Infrastructure at both Estonian Railways Ltd. and the State Enterprise Estonian Railways, as well as a lecturer in Railway Construction at Tallinn University of Technology. Zimmermann holds a Master’s Degree in Railway Construction and Maintenance from Tallinn University of Technology.
