Mohamed Gaber

Mohamed Gaber has a diverse work experience in the field of IC design and software development. Mohamed is currently working at Efabless Corporation as an IC Design Engineer and Senior Advisor. In their role as a Senior Advisor, they lead the maintenance of the OpenLane Project and develops the SoCGenV system-on-a-chip generator. Mohamed is also a full-stack developer on the Cloud V Integrated Synthesis environment.

Prior to their current position, Mohamed worked at The American University in Cairo as a Research Associate, where they researched EDA tools and worked on maintaining the Cloud V platform.

Mohamed also has experience as a Junior Backend Developer at Trukto, where they worked with Amazon Web Services and automated tasks to improve development efficiency.

Additionally, Mohamed worked as a Summer Research Intern at Microsoft, where they interned in the speaker recognition team, trained and tested deep neural networks, and modernized codebases in the development pipeline.

From 2014 to 2019, Mohamed Gaber attended The American University in Cairo where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering.
