Rita Hart

Rita Hart has extensive experience in community engagement and public service, currently serving as a Community Volunteer Liaison for Hometown Pride Committees with Keep Iowa Beautiful since January 2019, and as the Director of Community Relations at Pangaea International Academy since 2019. Rita Hart also holds a long-term position as a State Senator for the State of Iowa since January 2013, and previously served as a State Senator for Senate District 49 from January 2012 to January 2018. Additionally, Rita Hart has experience as an International Exchange Coordinator with the EF Foundation for Foreign Study since May 2007 and has been a soloist for various events in Eastern Iowa since 1986. Rita Hart holds a Master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's degree in English Education from the University of Northern Iowa.
