Jonathan Doering

Jonathan Doering has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. In 2013, they founded and served as Managing Director of Nice HPM GmbH. In 2014, they worked as a Financial Research Analyst at ÖKOWORLD, conducting stock market analysis and identifying sustainable investment opportunities. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Visiting Lecturer at King's College London and Queen Mary University. In 2017, they worked as a Data Scientist for Pentaho and Hitachi Vantara on international projects and POCs for big and unstructured data problems. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at PayPal as Manager, Data Science - Simility/Anti-Fraud and Fraud Data Scientist, where they implemented, researched and monitored machine-learning-based solutions for diverse use cases for clients in LATAM, China and EMEA. In 2020, they served as an Advisor for Beachcleanup Ghana and NEUO. Currently, they are a Co-Founder for Effectiv, building the next generation of fraud management solutions to help the digital world become a better place.

Jonathan Doering obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics from Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin between 2011 and 2014. Jonathan also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Bioinformatics from Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin between 2007 and 2011. In 2015, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Algorithmic Trading from University of Essex. In 2017, they obtained a certification in Taming Big Data with Apache Spark and Python from Udemy and a Bloomberg Technical Training Certification from Bloomberg LP.
