Heather Altman

Heather Altman, MA, LPC, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Regional Director at Effective School Solutions since August 2022. Prior roles include Director of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic at Oaks Integrated Care from July 2020 to July 2023 and Director of Mental Health Services at Helping Hand Behavioral Health from January 2017 to July 2020. Altman has a diverse background that includes clinical supervision, therapeutic intervention for children and families, and coordination of care for clients with complex needs. Notable previous positions include Owner of Willow Tree Behavioral Health and Counseling, Child Development Specialist at Inspira Health Network, and various roles within the Youth Advocate Programs, Inc., UMDNJ Vet to Vet, and the New Jersey National Guard. Altman holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Moravian University.
