Product Manager at Effectory International

Femke van der Schoot has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Femke most recently held the position of Product Manager at Effectory, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Customer Success Manager at Effectory from March 2022 to July 2022. Before joining Effectory, they served as an International Project Manager at the company from February 2020 to March 2022.

In addition to their role at Effectory, Femke has also worked as a Project Lead at SmartCenter from February 2017 to August 2018. Femke gained valuable hospitality experience at Park Inn by Radisson, where they held two roles: Operational Host from June 2013 to February 2017 and Operations Management Trainee from March 2016 to December 2016.

Femke also has experience in administrative and management roles. Femke worked as an Office & Merch Manager at Liquicity from March 2015 to March 2016, where they handled financial and merchandise administration and provided personal assistance to management. Femke also served as an Administrative Assistant at Use IT B.V. from August 2010 to October 2011, where they managed financial administration and provided general assistance to management.

In addition, Femke gained experience in sales and customer service as a Barista and Sales Assistant at Brandmeester's from February 2009 to October 2010. Femke obtained a barista certificate during this time. Prior to their other roles, Femke worked as a Front Office Trainee at Radisson Blu Astrid Antwerp from August 2012 to January 2013 and as a Promotion Team Lead at Het Nieuwbouw Platform from November 2008 to January 2015.

Femke van der Schoot pursued their education in a chronological manner. Femke first attended Het Amsterdams Lyceum from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Gymnasium degree with a focus on Nature and Health + Nature and Science, meeting the requirements for university entrance. Femke then enrolled at Hotelschool The Hague from 2011 to 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Hospitality Management.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Femke proceeded to TIAS School for Business and Society in 2018 and concluded their Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration: Change & Business Management in 2019. During their studies, they participated in the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics International Summer School in 2019, exploring the Global New Trends in Finance and Economics.

Furthermore, Femke has obtained several additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In June 2021, they completed the Scrum Master Training: Agile Business Advanced - Facilitating the Process through IIABC.org. Subsequently, in June 2022, they acquired Lean Green Belt Certification from Lean Competency System. In July 2022, Femke obtained a certification in Organizational Behavior Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Finally, in October 2022, they completed Design Thinking training offered by Growth Tribe.
