Chris Hornby

Chris Hornby has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. In 1992, they started their career as an Analyst Programmer at Quorum Capital Management. Chris then moved on to work as a Consultant at Anite Systems - Finance Division in 1994, and later as a Systems Analyst at Zurich System House in 1997.

From 1999 to 2008, Chris worked at Skandia, UK, where they held various positions including Lead Design, Project Leader and Analyst, and Configuration Controller. During this time, they were responsible for implementing ITIL change management workflows, managing live deployment and test systems support teams, and overseeing the rollout of a change management and source control suite.

In 2009, Chris became the Director of Orphix Ltd, a web development company specializing in content management systems. Chris worked there until 2011 when they joined Codestorm Ltd as a Senior Application Developer. In this role, they built and supported web shops and content management systems, utilizing skills in PHP, MySQL, Zend Framework 1, Zend Framework 2, and jQuery.

In 2016, Chris joined Efficio as a Senior Developer, where they continue to contribute their expertise.

Chris Hornby attended the University of Birmingham from 1987 to 1991, where they pursued a degree in Mathematical Economics. Chris successfully completed their studies and graduated with a 2:1 degree.
