Elizabeth Sapp is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in fire safety and environmental protection. Currently serving as an Effingham County Fire Inspector since July 2023 and as an Environmental Protection Specialist with FEMA since August 2021, Elizabeth has specialized knowledge in floodplain management and temporary housing environmental protections. Previous roles include Building Plans Examiner, Deputy Fire Marshal, and Firefighter Lieutenant with the City of Hardeeville, as well as a Chemical Technician at Micron and a Crash Fire and Rescue specialist in the United States Marine Corps. Elizabeth holds a Master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management, a Bachelor's degree in Fire Services Administration, and an Associate degree in Fire Science, all from Columbia Southern University, as well as certification as a Flood Plain Manager from FEMA.
