Jaehyuck Kang

Jaehyuck Kang has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Jaehyuck currently holds the position of Group Risk Chief Operating and Innovation Officer at EFG Bank, a role they began in July 2021. Prior to this, they served as SVP in Group Risk Management at the same company from May 2021 to June 2021.

Jaehyuck Kang completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Seoul National University, between 1998 and 2004. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Financial Economics at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, from 2009 to 2010.

Apart from their formal education, Jaehyuck Kang has also obtained various certifications. Jaehyuck became a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) through the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in 2009. Additionally, they have achieved certifications such as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and RYA Sailing Day Skipper from PADI and the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), respectively, in August 2023. Furthermore, Jaehyuck Kang has acquired certifications in data science and programming, including Data Scientist with Python, Machine Learning Scientist, and Python Programmer from DataCamp. Jaehyuck has also obtained certifications as a Professional Scrum Master and Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org.
