Lars Vatnaland

Lars Vatnaland is an experienced economist currently serving as Senior Economist at the EFTA Surveillance Authority since September 2018. Previously, Lars held the position of Seniorrådgiver at Nærings- og fiskeridepartementet from January 2016 to August 2018, and at KLIMA- OG MILJØDEPARTEMENTET in 2015. Lars began a consultancy role as Rådgiver at Olje- og energidepartementet from March 2007 to January 2015 and worked as Junior prosjektleder at Geelmuyden Kiese Norge for a brief period in 2006. Lars holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Oslo. Additionally, Lars completed a Candidate’s program in Journalism at Volda University College.
